In the EU project Bio.3DGREEN, 14 partners under the coordination of LZH are developing graphene foams from renewable raw materials. They aim to create a sustainable alternative to conventional damping and lightweight materials for automotive, aerospace and marine applications. LZH is designing a 3D printing test setup and developing the corresponding additive process.

Monitoring greenhouse gases from space with laser technology

Laseraufbau

Researchers at LZH are developing a robust laser system for monitoring greenhouse gases from space using a hybrid approach as part of the EU project HALLOA. The goal is to provide precise data to improve our understanding of the climate, while also strengthening Europe's technological independence.
