Abstract
A miniature self-frequency-doubling diode laser-pumped cw Nd:YAB laser has been demonstrated. Pumped by 870 mW of 807 nm radiation of a GaAlAs diode laser array the Nd:YAB laser generates an output of 10 mW at 532 nm. Higher efficiencies and output powers will be obtained with Nd:YAB crystals of improved optical quality.
