Study of mechatronics at the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Master of Science degree in 2015. From 2015 to 2021, scientific employee at the Institute for Transport and Automation Technology (ITA) at Leibniz Universität Hannover, leader of the optronics workgroup until 2021.
Since 2021, Gerd-Albert Hoffmann has been working at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e. V. (LZH) as Head of the Optics Integration Group of the Optical Components Department.
