For nine days, from 20 to 28 June 2026, visitors to IdeenExpo had the opportunity to learn about the MOONRISE project at the LZH booth.

How could roads and landing pads on the Moon be built from lunar dust? Visitors found answers to this question at the MOONRISE project's lunar model, which stands almost two metre tall. The LZH booth also offered insights into the research institute's internship, apprenticeship, and study-related programs. In addition, students were able to design their own space landscape using 3D pens, giving them a hands-on introduction to 3D printing.
