Study of Biology at Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf, the University of Edinburgh and Humboldt University Berlin, graduated in 2009 with a diploma. Completed a PR traineeship at Promega GmbH and become an academically certified PR consultant (PR Plus/Danube University Krems; distance learning) in 2011.

Patricia Fischer has been at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. since 2014 and took over as Head of the Communications Department in September 2023.
