As of April 1st, 2018, Prof. Dr. Detlev Ristau will be appointed to the Scientific Directorate of the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH). His successor as Head of the Laser Components Department is Dr. Lars Jensen.
Since 1992, Detlev Ristau has been heading the Laser Components Department at the LZH. In addition to his work on the Scientific Directorate, Prof. Ristau will be responsible for the future development and orientation of the Hannover Institute of Technology (HITec) at the Leibniz Universität Hannover.

His successor as Head of the Laser Components Department, Dr. Lars Jensen, will also take over as of April 1st. Since 2005, he has been working at the LZH in this department. Since 2011, he has been Head of the Characterization Group. In 2016, he became Head of the Coatings Group.
