Abstract
In this paper aluminum-textile-hybrid structures have been created without the use of additional adhesives. In order to keep a sufficient bonding strength the aluminum surface was textured using either a direct current GTAW-process with a positive polarity electrode (GTAW-DC-EP) or a laser process. Furthermore, the textiles used are nonwovens, made of a proportion fusible fibers~(PES) and acoustically effective fibers. The nonwovens are specifically developed to provide sufficient fusible fibers in the bonding region.
