Laser-assisted arc welding

Laser-assisted arc welding can be used for robust and high-quality welding at high speeds. The process developed at the Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH)  uses a laser beam with a low average output to stabilize the arc welding processes (GMA, MIG, TIG). With the laser-based process, welding speeds can be increased by 50 to 100%.
