From 18 to 21 October 2021, the 40th ICALEO will provide a virtual overview of current advances in laser materials processing. Leading experts from research and industry will exchange information on the latest findings and trends. Thematic focuses are laser-based additive manufacturing, laser macro- and micromachining, laser beam sources, process monitoring, and processing strategies. But participants will also learn valuable news on the development of the global laser market and the relevant industries.

General Chair Verena Wippo, Head of the Composites Group, has designed a challenging program with her co-chairs and an international program committee. As every year, ICALEO is hosted by the Laser Institute of America (LIA).
